with a story.
Community volunteers go into schools to read with children from pre-K through third grade. The goal is stronger reading confidence and the skills children need to move forward in school.
Book giveaways bring that experience home, with around 1,000 books shared each year.

with the school day.
Legacy 166’s education vision supports children during school, after school, and through summer. Afterschool learning and a summer program with Prichard housing communities are part of that connected approach.
The aim is continuity: children and families should have opportunities to keep learning beyond the classroom.
